Meet the Liten Bekk
Farm Family
Each member of our founding team has a connection to the beatiful expanses of the Midwest and have ventured far and wide from here. But, as they say, you can take the boy out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the boy. Their rural roots have come calling, and dreams of returning to the land have taken shape in the form of Liten Bekk Farm. Here, they welcome you to experience their passion for hospitality, nature, and unforgettable experiences.

Tyler Jennings
Managing Partner, Owner
Born and raised on a diversified corn, soybean, and vineyard farm in Southeast Minnesota, Tyler built grit early—whether powering through wrestling practice or pitching in at his dad’s seed-corn business. He then traded overalls for spreadsheets at IBM, working as a business analyst. But that entrepreneurial spark wouldn’t quit—so he launched his own general contracting firm, merging data-driven strategy with hands-on craftsmanship.
Then came Ron and Jeff—and an 87-acre hidden gem ripe for reinvention. Together, they founded Liten Bekk Farm, a sustainable, organic, year-round mushroom farm. Now in his role as managing partner, Tyler lives on-site full-time and stewards every aspect of the operation—from designing, building out the farm operation and selling fresh mushrooms to planning next steps.
He shares his land and life with his 2-year-old son, Jace—so beyond mushrooms, Tyler is cultivating a legacy rooted in innovation, stewardship, and community.
Jeff Canham
Partner, Owner
Jeff brings heart, hustle, and passion to everything he does. Growing up on a farm in South Dakota, early mornings, farm chores, and big skies shaped his love for wide-open spaces and bold ideas.
After college, Jeff traded cornfields for skylines and launched his career in the fast-paced meetings and events industry, eventually becoming partner at Prestige Global Meeting Source, where he plans and executes over 3,000 events around the world every year.
Today, between trips all over the world supporting clients, Jeff splits his time between Minneapolis and Palm Springs.

Ron Wold
Partner, Owner
Born and raised in the rural heart of Wisconsin, Ron roots have always run deep in the dirt — literally. After trading pastures for passports, Ron launched his career in the travel industry with Northwest Airlines, jet-setting far from the countryside. But adventure took on a new form when he teamed up with his partner, Jeff, to build a successful meetings and events company, where they led the charge on developing the West Coast sales and operations for the company and spent 18 vibrant years in Seattle.
After a sunny interlude in Palm Springs, Ron and Jeff returned to Minnesota in 2022, ready for their next chapter. Retired from the whirlwind of events, Ron felt the call of the soil again. Teaming up with Jeff and their friend Tyler, he’s now helping shape the vision of Liten Bekk — a sustainable, small-scale farm focused on growing thoughtfully and living simply.
Louis Pretorius
Head Gardener & Landscape Design Lead
Originally from South Africa, Louis brings a deep love for farming and a strong design sensibility to his work at LitenBekk Farm. With a background in interior and landscape design, he shapes the farm’s overall aesthetic-transforming gardens, pathways, and plantings into spaces that are both productive and inspiring.
Through thoughtful use of native species, edible gardens, and pollinator habitats, Louis designs landscapes that reflect the farm's values of sustainability and ecological balance. He works closely with Jeff and Tyler to cultivate a welcoming, seasonal environment that supports the land, nurtures biodiversity, and invites visitors to connect with the farm in meaningful way.

Chris Fettin
Marketing & Digital Experience
Born and raised in Nebraska, Chris spent childhood summers exploring his grandparents’ farm outside the sprawl of Omaha; an early imprint of rural life that never quite left him. Though now based in California, that grounding in Midwest values still shapes his work today.
Chris has spent over two decades at the intersection of design, branding, and communications, creating thoughtful digital experiences that invite connection. His background also includes extensive training in yoga and massage, bringing a perspective rooted in care, presence, and well-being.
Chris supports Liten Bekk from afar, helping shape a digital presence that reflects the farm’s spirit—warm, welcoming, and connected to the land.
